Prenatal/Postnatal Massage

Prenatal massage

Prenatal massage shares many of the goals of regular massage – to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility, and just make you feel good. But it's also tailored specifically to the needs of pregnant women and their changing bodies, and therapists who are trained in prenatal massage adjust their techniques accordingly.

Our custom designed prenatal table allows you to lie safely and comfortably on your belly while your certified and experienced prenatal therapist focuses on your areas of discomfort. You may even forget that you’re pregnant!

Postnatal Massage

Postnatal massage shares many of the goals of regular massage – to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility, and just make you feel good. It's tailored specifically to the needs of women who have recently given birth. Therapists who are trained in postnatal massage adjust their techniques accordingly.

The period following the birth of your baby is an important time for massage. You may have lingering effects from labor or new muscle strains from carrying and nursing your baby. Or maybe you just need some pampering after the most eventful experience of your life.

When can I get a postnatal massage?

  • following a vaginal birth you may receive massage at any time.

  • if you’ve had a cesarean birth, we recommend 6 weeks from birth, or with written permission from your doctor.
